The action genre has been manifesting technology in an extreme and advanced form through various superior inclusions. One of the highly anticipated titles namely inFamous 2 is also rumored to come equipped with futuristic weapons and gizmos. A couple of weeks ago, Sony detailed the duality, morality system encompassed in the game.
Now, a post on the official PlayStation blog has revealed the release date of the title while unveiling it’s pre-order details and the Hero Edition. The game has been slated to make its debut in June this year, allowing fans to unravel the next chapter in Cole’s life. This time around, the character will be guided by two non-playable characters, Kuo and Nix.
The announcement has highlighted the inFamous 2 Hero Edition which embraces a detailed 8.5-inch Cole MacGrath statue and a sportable sling pack inspired by the lead character’s in-game gear. It will also enable gamers to lay their hands on the inFamous mini comic, a super voucher code for unlocking content and the official soundtrack of the game. New Orleans-based band, Galactic, has strummed their funk and jazz notes with Bryan Mantia’s rock acoustics for the title’s soundtrack.
Players who have been eagerly waiting for this piece of information can now book their copy as well. By pre-ordering the game from Amazon, they will have the opportunity to obtain 24K Gold AMP whereas Best Buy is offering a Kessler Skin. Further, GameStop and Walmart loyalists will be rewarded with an electro-kinetic tether referred to as Lightning Hook and Electrocution Grenade, respectively.
inFamous 2 will reach North American shores on June 7, 2011. The Hero Edition of the game will be available from the same date for 99.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,509).
