As EA unveiled the next NFS title lined-up for the year, it intensified the rush on the Shift 2 Unleashed circuit with the Legends Content Pack. Further adding to the fiery blaze, the company has announced the Speedhunters DLC pack for the title. Slated to ride in later this month, it comprises two new branches namely Drag and Standing mile.
It has been elucidated that the Drag determines gamers’ fastest time over a stretch of a quarter mile. The Standing Mile does the same for over a mile while both the branches facilitate gamers to employ new high-power customization options. It also enables them to create 1000 horsepower engines which can be triggered for surpassing 250mph speeds. The Shift 2 Unleashed Speedhunters pack will further unfold six new tracks namely Miyatomi Drag Strip, Nevada Freight Yard, Agueda Aerodrome and Nevada Drag Strip amongst others.
Featuring 14 new cars, the bundle is said to deliver specially tuned Speedhunters vehicles including the Nissan Fairlady 240ZG (S30), Dodge Challenger R/T, Toyota Supra, World Racing Pro-FWD Reaper Scion and Lexus LFA. The add-on also boasts of the Pagani Huayra, Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32), Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution 2, Mazda Rx-7 (FC3S) and Dodge Viper GTS by Twins Turbo Speedhunters.
The Shift 2 Unleashed Speedhunters pack will be out on May 17, 2011. It will be available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network for 800 MSP and 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 448), respectively.
