MMO Need for Speed World Races Onto the PC Next Week

Just last month, we reported that Need for Speed World would release this July. The beta version of the MMO action racing game made its way into the terrain back in March. Now Black Box discloses that Need for Speed World will ride in for digital download on July 27, 2010.

The upcoming MMO title packs in deep RPG style progression, street racing and vehicle customization. Gamers can show off their virtual driving skills by challenging their family, friends or even loads of top ranked players. They can take advantage of police pursuits and online battles which take place across 150 miles of free open world.

For eager players to get their hands on the game before the release date, the company allows pre-orders of a Need for Speed World Starter Pack. Speed enthusiasts can unlock exclusive cars as well as reserve their driver names, acquire double XP and have the tag of VIP status on their driver profile even before the title takes off.

The Need for Speed World Starter Pack is priced at 20 USD (approx. Rs. 934) and comprises of a credit for 20 USD worth of in-game currency SpeedBoost as well as complete access up to level 50. Players are also treated to a bundle of power-ups such as Nitrous and Traffic Magnet.
