Mega Man has acquired quite a fan following since its inception in 1987 into the gaming terrain. Capcom Entertainment now reveals a new entry into the acclaimed Mega Man series dubbed as Mega Man Universe. According to the company, this particular title boasts of a revolutionary take on the classic series.
Mega Man Universe is set to feature creative components, leaving much to the imagination of the player. Capcom also discloses that the game delivers smart innovation for fans of the series. The recent Mega Man 10 was claimed to be one among the most famous digital downloads thanks to its captivating gameplay and classic design.
“We are thrilled to finally be able to announce Mega Man Universe,” stated Kenji Inafune, Head of Research and Development Management for Capcom Entertainment. “This game will break the mold and challenge the conventional wisdom of what a Mega Man game can be. When fans finally get to see it, I believe they’ll envision their most far-out Mega Man dreams coming true.”
The iconic character has over 140 titles to his name which span across 22 years. His presence is not only seen in the gaming arena but also in cartoons, comics, toys, clothing and kid’s meals among others. The popularity edge of Mega Man is also etched by the ability to evolve while retaining the much-loved gameplay.
Mega Man Universe is scheduled to release onto the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live although the exact availability and price details are still unclear.
