Long awaited details about The Walking Dead Season 2 have finally arrived, and with them has come an interesting revelation that Clementine will be the main playable character within the upcoming episodes. Although an official release date for the game hasn’t been disclosed as yet, Telltale has indeed informed us that the first episode will be out sometime later this year for PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360, along with ‘additional platforms to be announced.’
Not much description about The Walking Dead Season 2 is available at the moment, but through a post on the developer’s official blog it has been revealed that players will be challenged to find safety and survive in a world where no one can be trusted, all while playing as a young and orphaned yet strong, Clementine. As expected, Seasons 2 will also contain a total of five episodes, and will run through 2014.
And just like with the last season, purchasing all episodes at once on PC will grant gamers a 10 percent saving on the deal. Pre-orders for the same can be placed now on Steam at a price of 22.49 USD (approx. Rs 1,400). Furthermore, the long-rumored Game of the Year Edition of The Walking Dead Season 1 has also been revealed by Telltale Games to be set for a November 19 launch. This pack includes the first five episodes from the title, its 400 Days DLC, its original score and an exclusive behind the scenes video. It will be sold at 29.99 USD (approx. Rs 1,850).
