The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition is not yet official, but we still have details which interested buyers can chomp on. Earlier, the compilation was spotted on the ESRB website, but we now have official listings on sites like Amazon and GameStop which have more than given away its existence. This package is expected to be released on November 19 for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac. And it should have its price set at 29.99 USD (approx. Rs 1,850).
According to its Amazon listing, The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition will come equipped with the first five episodes from Season 1 as well as the title’s 400 Days DLC. Released earlier this year, this latter piece of content acted as a bridge between the game’s Season 1 and the upcoming Season 2. Aside from that, the GotY package will also allow gamers access to the title’s original soundtrack and a behind the scenes video. All at a value added price of 29.99 USD (approx. Rs 1,850).
Last year, The Walking Dead had the honor of receiving a number of Game of the Year awards from different publications around the world. The game was released in the form of five episodes which continued the story forward, and tailored it according to the choices gamers made during gameplay. Apart from the above mentioned platforms, the game can also be played on iOS devices and the PS Vita. An Ouya version is slated to be released sometime soon as well.
While The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition is out in the open already, Telltale Games has another big surprise lined up for later this month when it will be revealing details regarding Season 2 of the title.
