Strange as it may sound, The Walking Dead: 400 Days release date has been announced by Telltale Games just a day before the actual launch. Eager gamers will be pleased to know that the DLC for one of last year’s most appreciated games will be hitting main platforms in this week itself. As for information related to its PS Vita launch, it can be noted that this version of The Walking Dead cannot be expected to hit the handheld system until August.

The details has been revealed by the game’s makers to IGN, and have come our way through Eurogamer. July 2, that is today, marks the date on which The Walking Dead: 400 Days will make its debut on North American PSN. PC and Mac owners all over the world will be able to grab it via Steam and the Telltale Games Store from tomorrow onwards.

July 5 which is a Friday will see The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC hitting Xbox Live worldwide. Next week, on July 10, PSN users in Europe will get to jump into this add-on, while a day later, on July 11, it will make its way to the iOS App store. As mentioned above, it has been confirmed that Vita version of this content will be landing in August.
The Walking Dead: 400 Days is all set to act as a bridge between Season 1 and Season 2 of the highly acclaimed game series. It will focus on new characters, and will allow gamers to jump into their shoes in any order to grab a new perspective on the zombie apocalypse that forms the base of this story. Season 2 of the series is gearing up for release during the fall of this year.

The 400 Days DLC will have its price set at 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 290) or 400 Microsoft Points for the respective platforms, as revealed by Telltale Games at this year’s E3.
