The Cave arrives on Google Play Store

Double Fine’s puzzle-platform adventure game, The Cave which was released on mainstream platforms in January this year, has made its way to the Google Play Store for Android phones and tablets. This game had been doled out for the Ouya platform in December, whereas October had seen it getting launched for iOS devices.

The Cave

Created by Ron Gilbert, The Cave is based on a idea which he had in his mind for nearly twenty years about a cave that invites people to explore their darker personality traits. You are needed to choose a party of three adventurers and head into the mystifying depths of the cave in order to explore unique locations such as a subterranean amusement park, medieval castle and a nuclear tipped ICBM.

Each of the seven characters within this game has their own unique personalities, special talents and a secret reason for descending the cave. The multiplayer features of the original don’t seem to form part of this Android version, with the game requiring you to switch between characters in order to solve cooperative puzzles.

Like we said, The Cave can be downloaded now through the Google Play Store. It costs Rs 308.99, and is shown to be compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up; though we highly doubt that.
