The North American PS Plus incentives that have come to the fore this week have The Cave and Tekken 6 as their free offerings. While the former is a platform-adventure title released in January this year, the latter is PS Vita game derived from its PSP original which was launched way back in 2009. Besides, there are also discounts that these gamers can avail of, with the most notable among them being the one on Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken. Let’s have a look at all these bonuses.
The Cave has been developed by Double Fine Productions, and is a platform-adventure which revolves around a magical talking cave consisting of a complex set of tunnels. The game asks you to form a team of three people by choosing from a total of seven unlikely adventurers, with all of them having unique personalities. They are then required to venture into the mysterious depths of the cave so as to explore locations that include a subterranean amusement park, a medieval castle, ready-to-launch nuclear tipped ICBM and more.
Tekken 6 is the seventh main installment to the fighting game series. It was first released for Arcades, after which, it made its way to home consoles, and then to the PSP. This free version will be playable on the PS Vita, complete with its large character roster, a single-player mode as well as multiplayer and online options. Moreover, there’s also a character customization system that gamers can indulge themselves in.
As far as discounts are concerned, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken gets a 40 percent price cut on it. And this sale applies to both its PS3 as well as PS Vita versions. While the former will be going for 7.19 USD (approx. Rs. 390), the latter will be made available at 5.99 USD (approx. Rs. 325) for Plus members. Another discount has been revealed for this week, on Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational Course and Character Pack. This 25 percent price cut brings its cost down to 8.99 USD (approx. Rs. 490).
All these discounts as well as the two free games, The Cave and Tekken 6, will be made available to PS Plus subscribers through this week’s PS Store update slated to appear later today.
