Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Flying In This Summer

Superman, Wonder Woman as well as Green Lantern will all be accompanying the Dark Knight in Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes which is slated to be released in the summer of 2012 on a long list of platforms. These include the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC as well as handheld systems like the Nintendo DS, 3DS and the upcoming PS Vita.

This new offering is all set to act as a sequel to Lego Batman, which has reportedly sold eleven million units worldwide since its launch in September 2008. Lego Batman 2 will have the superhero and his sidekick Robin joining forces with Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to protect Gotham City from being destroyed by the evil intentions of Lex Luthor and the Joker. This new and original story is also said to kick in classic Lego videogame action and humor.

The game would also allow players to discover new areas in Gotham City by making use of the numerous vehicles that include the Batmobile and Batwing. New gadgets and suits such as Batman’s Power Suit and Robins’ Hazard Cannon would also form a part of this title.

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be making its way to the above mentioned platforms sometime during the summer of 2012. This game will be released to complement the new Lego Super Heroes: DC Universe toy collection.
