Last month, the Dead Space remake was met with lots of positive feedback from fans and critics alike, so it’s not a surprise that EA is exploring possible remakes of its two sequels. In a survey being sent to select gamers, the publisher is seemingly gauging the demand for them.

As spotted by ResetEra, a poll is being sent out to select Dead Space players, asking them how interested they would be in a similar remake for Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3. They can choose from five answers ranging from “Not at all interested” to “Extremely interested.”

While this does not confirm that the two games will indeed receive sequels, guessing the outcome of this poll isn’t too difficult. Both the sequels were met with a tremendous reaction and topped sales charts upon their respective releases.

Naturally then, Dead Space fans would love to see them get updated visuals and other additions. And seeing the finesse with which the original Dead Space has been remade, it’s certain that most fans will select the “Extremely interested” option in the polls.

The Dead Space series is known for its survival horror gameplay that involves exploring distinct areas in abandoned spaceships, solving environmental puzzles, and finding ammunition and equipment to survive.

The original Dead Space was released back in 2008 and is often counted among the greatest video games ever made. Dead Space 2 came out in 2011 and replicated the success of its predecessor. Dead Space 3 was released in 2013, after which, the series received no further entry.

The prospect of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 getting remakes might excite fans but even if these projects do get conceived, their arrival is set to take years.
