New Assassin’s Creed Games And Much More Announced By Ubisoft

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

As promised, Ubisoft has revealed more information about Assassin’s Creed Mirage at its Forward event. Three other games from the same franchise have also been announced, aside from new information about the upcoming piracy and naval warfare offering, Skull and Bones.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage got a CGI trailer at the event. The game is coming in 2023 with a story that takes place around twenty years prior to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Set in Baghdad, it follows Basim Ibn Ishaq and is designed to be a modern take on the original gameplay template for the series.

And then there are two other upcoming Assassin’s Creed games, which will fit into a new cannon that’s expected to have other games in the future as well. These two games include one set in feudal Japan that’s called Assassin’s Creed Codename Red and another called Assassin’s Creed Codename Hex, which might feature some sort of witchcraft.

This new cannon will be unified under a platform called Assassin’s Creed Infinity. It will act as a hub of sorts for future games from the series but its actual details remain very scarce. One more game was announced in the form of an open-world mobile offering called Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade that’s set in ancient China.

Another trailer comes from the upcoming free expansion to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla called The Last Chapter that’s coming later this year. It will serve as a conclusive epilogue to Eivor’s story and her relationship with Odin.

The final major update from this event was the trailer of Skull and Bones. This clip confirmed that the game will feature cross-platform play and also showcased its customization options and its Trading Network called the Helm.

As you can see, Ubisoft has given Assassin’s Creed fans plenty to look forward to in the coming years. Let us now wait and watch how this new direction plays out for the franchise.
