Gamers who’ve been episodically jumping into the latest Hitman game will once again get the chance to explore the Sapienza level thanks to a bonus mission that has just been announced by Square Enix. Apart from that, the game has also just received its nineteenth elusive target.
January 31 has been announced to be the date on which the Landslide level will be released for Hitman. It will feature a rich right-wing politician named Marco Abiatti, who has ties with organized crime. Players will be required to stop him in his tracks from becoming a mayor.
The elusive target who is on the loose is also in the same map. Walter ”˜The Blackmailer’ Williams is a fashion model with a history of blackmail. The rules for this mission are simple. The target will be available only for a few days’ time, he won’t be visible in Instinct Mode and failing to kill him will mean game over.
Hitman was launched last year as the first game from the series with an episodic release. Although this approach was heavily criticized by fans, the game itself turned out to be quite impressive. Available on the PS4, the Xbox One and PC, it takes place seven years after the events portrayed in Hitman: Absolution.
