Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s next-gen open world zombie survival title Dying Light is all set grant players super-powered abilities tomorrow as a celebration of April Fools’ Day. This change in the gameplay will only last for 24 hours, following which the game will go back to being its normal self. During the 1-day period, players will be blessed with incredible strength that will make for some really breathtaking zombie kills, which is why the developers of this game have asked players to upload their incredible kills to YouTube as well.
As you can see in the video we’ve posted in the space down below, simple punches and kicks will result into zombie corpses flying off into long distances, thus increasing the fun of killing them. The violence is also doubled, even as the corpses will get dismembered more easily during the April Fools’ Day period of Dying Light. To explain the big change in the game, the developers have revealed through a statement that these abilities have been given to them owing an infected batch of anti-undead drug Antizin drugs.

They have moreover also disclosed that while all the undelivered supplies of Antizin have been destroyed, untainted drops will resume being delivered on April 2. However, until then, the super-powered abilities of players will continue to exist. Dying Light was released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in January this year for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Linux platforms. It’s an open world offering with elements from action-RPG and survival horror genres.
