Don’t Starve Together, the multiplayer version of Klei Entertainment’s hit title from 2013, has been blessed with the new Reign of Giants content which can be grabbed by players free of cost. Equipped with new items, characters and environments, this pack is actually the same one that was released by the developers for the original game back in February last year. The expansion can only be grabbed through Steam.
Don’t Starve Together is actually a standalone expansion for Don’t Starve, which is available right now through Steam in the form of an Early Access version. The original game also exists on the PS4, the PS Vita and the Wii U but these platforms haven’t been granted the multiplayer expansion yet. Reign of Giants has already started being doled out to those who have the game in their libraries, while those who buy it from here on will get their copies infused with it.

Don’t Starve tells the story of a scientist named Wilson who suddenly finds himself in a dark and dreary world. He is now tasked with surviving for as long as possible, and gamers are needed to keep Wilson healthy, fed and mentally stable. This game also features an ‘Adventure’ mode which pits Wilson against the main antagonist, Maxwell. At its roots, this title is an action-adventure offering, but it comes laced with elements from survival horror, sandbox and roguelike genres. In only its first year, it had managed to sell off more than 1 million copies.
Don’t Starve Together can be grabbed now along with its new Reign of Giants content trough Steam Early Access in exchange of 18.39 USD (approx. Rs 1160).
