Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game headed our way

Looks like there’s yet another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game on the cards for us, even as proof of such a title has just been spotted online. The good news is that the upcoming title is being developed by Platinum Games, which has been responsible for highly successful offerings like Bayonetta, Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The name of this game has been revealed to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, while its publisher has been listed as Activision. Not much is known about it yet, but it seems an official reveal of it is right around the corner.

This title has been found listed on the Australian Classification Board which has in the past given away the existence of a number of games. It has been rated M for mild impact themes, moderate impact violence and mild impact language.

TMNT Out of Shadows

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan has been preceded by TMNT: Out of the Shadows which was released back in 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PC and in 2014 for the PS3. It was not at all well received by the press owing to several issues with its gameplay and its overall nature.

But it seems that won’t be the case with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, since it happens to be in the good hands of Platinum Games which is known for its great action-based titles. The studio has worked with Activision twice in the past for Transformers: Devastation and The Legend of Korra.
