Watch Dogs available worldwide for all intended platforms except Wii U

Watch Dogs has finally been released by Ubisoft following a huge delay in its initial launch which was planned to take place late last year. This next-gen game can be bought right now for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, whereas a Wii U version is planned for launch late this year. Interested parties can rush to their nearest retail stores or head to download portals to grab their copies of this open world action-adventure developed by the geniuses over at Ubisoft Montreal.

Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs revolves around the story of Aiden Pearce, a former thug who is now an adept hacker. The game takes place in a futuristic version of Chicago that’s controlled by a central operating system (CtOS). The fact that Pearce possesses the ability to hack into this system forms the backbone of its gameplay which involves a combination of hacking, driving, free-roaming, armed combat, stealth, parkour and more.

This title also benefits from a unique multiplayer experience which involves a number of difference modes. Watch Dogs was unveiled for the first time back in 2012 during that year’s E3. Since no next-gen console had been revealed back then, its release platforms were kept a mystery. However, last year saw Ubisoft showcasing the game in its entirety. It was earlier slated to be launched on November 19, but citing additional time needed for polishing the date was moved to May 27.

Like we said, Watch Dogs has finally been made available through retail as well as online portal. Its price is set at the usual 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,500).
