Splinter Cell: Blacklist Collector’s Editions for EMEA regions unveiled

EMEA territories will be receiving different Splinter Cell: Blacklist Collector’s Editions as compared to the one on offer to North American consumers. Collectible statues, a watch, in-game perks and a lot more additional items form part of these packages which were unveiled by Ubisoft yesterday. And unlike the North American version, these will be made available for the PS3, Xbox 360 as well as PC. No price details have come to the form as yet however.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist CE 1

First among all of the Splinter Cell: Blacklist Collector’s Editions is dubbed the 5th Freedom Edition which will be an exclusive to Game in the UK and Gamestop in Ireland. It comprises a 24cm Sam Fisher figurine, a steelbook case, a 96 page graphic novel, single and multiplayer co-op maps and an assortment of five extra gear, suits and weapons. And then there’s the 5th Freedom Silver Edition. Exclusive only to Uplay, this bundle contains almost the same components as the earlier version, with the only differences being a silver statue and a special steelbook.

The Ultimatum Edition on the other hand, will come equipped with a Special-Ops digital watch. Moreover, it will also comprise of a relatively shorter graphic novel, the single and multiplayer co-op maps and in-game items such as 2 pieces of gear and an Upper Echelon suit. It is still not sure which retailer/s will be offering this one.

Lastly, there’s the Upper Echelon Day 1 Edition which will be doled out by Game in the UK and Xtravision in Ireland. It comes equipped with only in-game content that includes a single-player and co-op map, gold goggles, the legendary Upper Echelon Suit, early access to the HK 416 Assault Rifle and the Elite Digital Ghillie suit.

This upcoming game from the much revered series is all set to hit store shelves this August for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Rumors have been indicating that a Wii U version is on the cards as well, but no official word has been received as yet. The Splinter Cell: Blacklist Collector’s Editions will be released on the same date as the actual game, and while this much information has been disclosed by Ubisoft, there are still no details regarding their pricing.
