Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer Demo Unveils Next Week

Lost Planet 2 is the upcoming third-person shooter game from Capcom. In November, we reported about an exciting pre-order bonus for the game which includes characters and weaponry. Capcom is now all set to give players a taste of what to expect when the game releases. The company plans to bring the latest Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer demo to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live next week.

Gamers will be able to adorn a vital suit and arm themselves with deadly weapons as well as go into battle with 16 players in real time. The demo includes the ‘Turbulent Jungle’ map plucked right out from the online versus mode. It also offers full chat support and stat tracking. Gamers who indulge in the demo version will be able to access the Machine Gun SP which fires three round bursts when they buy the full retail version of Lost Planet 2.

The Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer demo can be played on the Xbox 360 and PS3 from April 21 and 22, 2010. Players can however get their hands on the demo version on March 31, 2010 through community-distributed voucher codes for early access.

Back in January, we revealed that Lost Planet 2 would hit consoles on May 18, 2010. This date has now been altered and the game is set to make its release one week earlier on May 11, 2010. A PC version can also be expected by autumn this year. The official pricing details are however still a bit hazy.
