Mafia II is the highly-anticipated sequel to the video game Mafia released in 2002. According to the producers, the game uses the cover system extensively, and recently we heard that we would see some Playboy magazine artwork in the game. Now 2K Games has announced the UK and US street dates for Mafia II for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
The game puts players in the ruthless and unforgiving world of the Mafia. It even features things like cars, music, advertising and clothing reminiscent of the era. The game’s cinematic Hollywood-styled experience will captivate players with strong yet believable characters and high-octane gunplay.
Mafia II will be playable by the public for the first time at the Penny Arcade Expo East being held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts from March 26, 2010 to March 28, 2010 at the 2K Games booth.
The game will be available in North America on August 24, 2010 and in the UK as well as in other regions internationally on August 27, 2010. Mafia II is currently in development with 2K Czech.
