A European release of the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 is finally on its way. A recent announcement by Koei reveals that the highly anticipated game will be releasing in Europe for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 systems in March 2009. The exciting game has been creating quite a stir in the gaming and anime terrain in Japan.
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 distinctly blends in the tactical action gameplay of the Dynasty Warriors series with the destructive powers of the Mobile Suit, which is the rich legacy of the Gundam universe. Players are put up in battles against Mobile Suits on far away planetary surfaces along with those in outer space. The game also lets players indulge in melee battles against colossal enemies like the Psycho Gundam for the very first time.
While Japan is still under the effect of the Gundam phenomenon, gaming enthusiasts in Europe can now also look forward to some action-packed battles with mountain-sized robots. Gamers will get an opportunity to take charge of the tower block sized robots equipped with some of the most massive combos and attack animations not yet seen in most current Warriors game.
Bundled with new stories featuring mecha from the latest Gundam anime, mecha from Char’s Counter Attack and much more, players will also be able to adapt a Mobile Suit which can be used for combat in Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2. For highly-trained pilots, their own Mobile Suits along with speed, agility and firepower should help them defeat their enemies. With a chance to roll out enough firepower to level entire cities, gamers can also battle out hundreds of armed to the teeth Mobile Suits. Gamers can also enjoy watching a large scale battle of armies of giant robots creating a ruckus on the battle field. The game includes an online versus play too.
There is no word on the price, though Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 has been confirmed to launch in Europe on March 27, 2009.
