Warner Bros Reveals Prices and Release Dates for Watchmen: The End is Nigh

Watchmen is a series of highly acclaimed graphic novels which has been adapted into both, movie and video game form. Now, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Watchmen: The End is Nigh game will be available across various platforms. The company has also gone on to mention the release dates and prices.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh will let fans experience the intensity of the 2009 hit film along with a gameplay style featuring unadulterated gory combat. The End is Nigh Part 1 is set more than a decade prior to the film’s story and explores the relationship between Nite Owl and Rorschach before the commencement of the Keene Act. Part 2 has the vigilantes teaming up again in order to find a missing girl who goes by the name of Violet Greene.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience contains both parts and comes with the Watchmen: Director’s Cut on Blu-ray. The director’s cut has 25 minutes of never before seen movie footage and is available only on DVD and Blu-ray. The game and the Blu-ray disc of Watchmen: Director’s Cut can be played on the PS3 system. Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience is set to release on July 21, 2009 and carries a suggested retail price of USD 49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,450).

Watchmen: The End is Nigh is developed by Deadline Games. For the Xbox 360 console, both parts will release in the form of a single game and will be available on July 21, 2009 for a suggested retail price of USD 29.99 (approx Rs. 1,470). Part 2 of the game will release as a PC downloadable on July 29, 2009 and for the PSN on July 30, 2009 for USD 14.99 (approx Rs. 735). This will release on XBLA on August 26, 2009 for 1200 Microsoft Points.
