We had reported back in July that The Saboteur is scheduled to unfurl into stores this month. While everyone waits for the third person action-adventure to hit the scene, Pandemic Studios reveals that the main theme of The Saboteur is formulated and composed by acclaimed film composer Christopher Young. He has been renowned for scoring popular movies like Spider Man 3 as well as the forthcoming film Creation.
The composer’s inspiration was kindled by early 20th century France as well as the title’s action sequences. The result was a musical window into the soul of The Saboteur which is filled with a prominent Paris setting, its whole new take on the era doused with a suspenseful atmosphere. The open-world sandbox title takes place in Nazi occupied Paris during the World War II.

The Saboteur throws players right into all the dangerous action and enables them to take on the role of the hero Sean Devlin. The upcoming title is inspired by a true story and sees Devlin boiling with revenge as he quietly sneaks and disrupts Nazi operations. However he is not alone on this endeavor. Sean is backed by the French Resistance as well as the British intelligence.
Equipped with brawn, street smarts and an array of weaponry, vehicles and explosives, he takes his revenge by blowing up zeppelins and derailing trains as well. Players will even be able to scale famous Parisian landmarks and experience France like never before. The game incorporates artistic style mixed with intense action and dramatic storyline.
The Saboteur is compatible with the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The game is schedule to release in North America on December 8, 2009.
