A few weeks ago, we had reported that ex-rapper-turned-actor Mark Wahlberg could be starring in the Max Payne film. Now movie website Production Details is reporting that the shooting for the Max Payne movie will begin from March 2, 2008 in Toronto, Canada.
The story of the game is about a New York cop who joins the Drug Enforcement Agency to go undercover to find out about Valkyr. It is a designer drug, which was used by gangsters who were high on it when they killed his wife and baby. There are no exact details of the story of the Max Payne movie.
The Max Payne film is being directed by John Moore, who has earlier worked on movies like Behind Enemy Lines and Flight of the Phoenix. The shooting of the action movie is expected to wrap up on May 9, 2008. So there is a huge possibility that the Max Payne movie will release some time later this year. The Hitman movie did not do that well but let’s hope this movie lives up to the expectations of the gamers.
