Supreme Commander 2 for PC unveiled by Square Enix

Last month we had revealed the release dates of Supreme Commander 2 for Europe and PAL territories. The game is noted to be fashioned by renowned developer Gas Powered Games and is the next iteration into the acclaimed Supreme Commander franchise. Now Square Enix discloses that the PC version of Supreme Commander 2 has made its way across stores in North America.

The events featured in Supreme Commander 2 take place 25 years into the future and offers players loads of enhancements and even an intense campaign mode as well as a riveting online multiplayer. The unique storyline and other elements espied within the game take the real-time strategy genre to a whole new level. Gamers can choose any one of the three enigmatic commanders that represent the three different factions namely The United Earth Federation, The Illuminate and the Cybran Nation. They can create armies of sizable proportions as well as experimental war machines in order to face a heap of enemies.

The storytelling and character development by Square Enix as well as the RTS expertise of Gas Powered Games are the exciting elements that make Supreme Commander 2 a unique game. The single-player title comprises of more than 18 missions where players have to battle with land, naval and air units. They can also customize and upgrade their armies with new technologies and weapons.

The PC-DVD version of Supreme Commander 2 has already made its way into North American stores tagged with a suggested retail price of $49.99 (approx. Rs.2,274).
