A few months ago, we had reported that Ubisoft had revealed a game called as Shaun White Snowboarding, but it was supposed to release for the PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms. Now Ubisoft sends word that Shaun White Snowboarding will also release on the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP.
Shaun White Snowboarding for Nintendo DS is expected to have intuitive stylus controls and DS gamers will be able to select their path down four open mountains and make their own runs. The game has wireless multiplayer for four and gamers can compete in races, point competitions, king of the hill and much more. It features lots of options for rider and gear customization too.
As for Shaun White Snowboarding for the PSP, gamers can select from five mountains and a diversity of slopes. There is a solo campaign as well as co-op and competitive modes in the game. The controls of Shaun White Snowboarding are intuitive and have a unique scoring system that rewards points on speed, tricks, slides and carves. Gamers can earn experience points and build up their rider’s attributes.
Shaun White Snowboarding for the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP is expected to be out on November 13, 2008. The game has been made in close collaboration with the Olympic gold medalist Shaun White.
