One of the best tactical role-playing games, Shining Force, was first released by Sega in 1992. Recently, a Shining Force game was also
released on Wii Virtual Console. Now Japanese magazine Famitsu is reporting that Sega is getting Shining Force Feather to the Nintendo DS.
Shining Force Feather for the Nintendo DS sees gamers play as Jin and takes place 3,000 years after the war that took place between the Kyomu and the Shining Force warriors. It will have a turn-based strategic battle system but with an overhead perspective. However, when the gamers choose an enemy for attack, the game turns to a side perspective. The Shining Force Feather battle system also allows for combination attacks as gamers will be able to team up.
Shining Force Feather is expected to be launched for the Nintendo DS in Japan in the spring of next year. The game is sixty percent complete and this is the first time a Shining Force game is coming on the DS. There is no word whether Shining Force Feather will be released in the western countries.
