Shinobi III (800 Wii Points) was a best-seller when it was released on the Sega Mega Drive in 1993. It is often called as the best action platform game in the famous Shinobi series as it features high quality visuals and fast, varied gameplay. Gamers take the role of Joe Musashi, a Ninjitsu fighter and have to take on the evil of the recently revived crime syndicate Neo Zeed.

Next up is Dynamite Headdy (800 Wii Points), which was released on the Sega Mega Drive in 1994. The action platform game is set in a world full of living toys. Headdy is the star of a traveling theatre with a volatile, detachable head. He must fight his way past abundant evil puppets over several theatrical stages and overcome the evil puppet king, ‘Dark Demon’, and his minions, as well as trying to overpower his life long enemy Trouble Bruin.

Then we have Shining Force (800 Wii Points). The role playing game debuted on the Sega Mega Drive in 1992. The Kingdom of Runefaust brings war to the land of Rune destroying a thousand years of peace. Gamers must wield the Powers of Light and go head on with the Lord of Darkness and the evil creatures ravishing the land to bring back peace to the war-torn nation

Last but not the least is the 1991 Turbografx action-puzzler Drop Off (600 Wii Points). Princess Azumi has been placed under a sleeping spell and it’s up to the hero Takashi to go into her terrifying dreams and save her from the sleeping spell. Gamers must use all their craftiness to clear a path through the obstacles that come in their way. They can utilize the arrow items and control the angle of the ball to shatter the blocks that fall from the top screen. Gamers must complete and solve the block puzzles in order to liberate Azumi from the dream world.

Dynamite Headdy and Drop Off were released earlier this week on the American Virtual Console. Shinobi, Dynamite Headdy, Shining Force and Drop Off now join the list of 116 classic titles already available for Virtual Console in Europe for the Nintendo Wii.
