Xbox Live Deal of the Week Includes Mega Man 10, Scrap Metal and More

Through the Xbox Live Gold membership, players are offered instant streaming of Netflix movies, photo sharing, virtual parties and online gaming. Late last month, we also divulged details about the Xbox Live Gold Family Pack which will be offered this November. Gamers will now be treated to an Exclusive Gold Only Discount on various content items each week. These include classic Xbox originals, arcade games, map pack or even songs.

This time, the Xbox Live Deal of the Week includes Mega Man 10, After Burner Climax, Scrap Metal and Death by Cube. The classic 2D title Mega Man 10 gives players a sense of takes gamers back to the past with retro platforming action elements embedded into the game. This game is noted to be the latest entry into the well-known 8-bit franchise. There is a newly added Easy Mode introduced in the game as well as other special treats. After Burner Climax lets players take control of a frantic fighter plane that soars through the air. Gold members can now avail of these two games for half price.

Scrap Metal is a fast-paced racing game that enables players to take down competitors with blazing guns. There are action-packed missions and loads of customization options for their vehicles. They can take down tough bosses and acquire their cars as new additions to their garage. The game also offers online multiplayer matches. Death By Cube is published by Square Enix and is seen as an exciting action game where players will face waves of enemies. Coming to their aid are their ‘dash’ and ‘shield’ abilities as they successfully traverse through each level acquiring medals. There are 3 types of multiplayer modes namely Death Match, Base Battle and High Score Scramble.

According to Major Nelson, Mega Man 10, Death by Cube and Afterburner Climax are now individually priced at 400 points from the previous 800 points. Scrap Metal, which originally had a price tag of 1200 can now be picked up for 800 points.
