Worms is an artillery video game series first released in 1994, while The King of Fighters (KOF) is a successful series of fighting games which was also introduced in the same year. Now, we have word that Worms 2 Armageddon and The King of Fighters ‘98 Ultimate Match will feature on Xbox Live Arcade this July.
Worms 2 Armageddon, the sequel to the award winning Worms, has been extended for XBLA. The game features four player offline and online multiplayer, voice support and a host of new weapons such as the Concrete Donkey. Players can enjoy the new high definition landscape themes and gameplay modes. The game also offers many customization options including new speechbanks and hats.
The King of Fighters ‘98 Ultimate Match is the 2008 remake of KOF ’98. The game has a total of 64 characters to choose from, and has all new battle moves. With Xbox Live, players can now take on opponents from across the world.
Both the games will release tomorrow, July 1, 2009 on the XBLA. Worms 2 Armageddon, developed by Team17 Software, will be available for 800 Microsoft Points while The King of Fighters ‘98 Ultimate Match, which is developed by SNK Playmore, is also priced at 800 Microsoft Points.
