Fresh from releasing the full set-list of the Rock Band Country Track Pack, MTV Games and Harmonix have announced 16 tracks for the Rock Band Music Store catalog of downloadable content for the Wii. The DLC feature tracks from artists The Offspring, Pearl Jam and Mission of Burma.
The line up will include 3 songs each from Pearl Jam and Mission of Burma, and songs from renowned artists such as Harvey Danger, Panic at the Disco, George Thorogood. These tracks come from the back catalog of Rock Band tracks which were already available to PS3 and Xbox 360 owners. The 16 featured tracks are:
- Alive (Live: Drop in the Park) – Pearl Jam.
Bad to the Bone – George Thorogood.
Brother – Pearl Jam.
Closer – Lacuna Coil.
Cream and Bastards Rise – Harvey Danger.
Forever – In This Moment.
Gone Away – The Offspring.
Mica – Mission of Burma.
Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) – The Offspring.
She’s a Handsome Woman – Panic at the Disco.
Space Truckin’ – Deep Purple.
State of Love and Trust (Live: Drop in the Park) – Pearl Jam.
Swamped – Lacuna Coil.
Take Back the City – Snow Patrol.
That’s How I Escaped My Certain Fate – Mission of Burma.
That’s When I Reach for My Revolver – Mission of Burma.
Taking these tracks into account, there are now more than 345 tracks in the Wii Rock Band Music Store. The tracks have hit the in-game Rock Band 2 Music Store and are priced at USD 2 (approx. Rs.95) or 200 Wii Points. They can be downloaded directly on to the system memory or to an SD card from where they can be streamed directly.
