The next generation Bionic Commando has just been released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and Capcom has announced that Bionic Commando: Rearmed is now available on the Xbox Live Arcade for download for 400 Microsoft Points. This is just half the price of the game.
Bionic Commando: Rearmed was released in 2008 for the XBLA, PSN and Windows and is a complete remake of the NES classic released over 20 years ago. Rearmed features side scrolling and grappling gameplay with new HD visuals and great new weapons and functionality for the bionic arm. The music score of the game is greatly improved and gives for a superb experience. Bionic Commando: Rearmed also features an online ranking system, 2-player co-op mode and Challenge Rooms. Additionally, when players complete specific sections in the game, they unlock items in the new Bionic Commando. This half price offer only lasts one week, ending on June 3, 2009.
