Perfect Dark is the first person shooter video game released in 2000 for the N64. A prequel called Perfect Dark Zero was released in 2005 for the Xbox 360. Now Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has posted on Twitter that Perfect Dark will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360.
The original Perfect Dark game is set in the year 2023 and follows Special Agent Joanna Dark from the Carrington Institute. She is thrust into the action to stop the conspiracy as rival corporation dataDyne has made some technological breakthroughs which threaten to change the face of mankind forever. According to the Twitter post, the game runs in the 1080p full HD video mode and will release for the Xbox 360 on the Xbox Live Arcade in the winter of 2009. There is a free downloadable Perfect Dark Xbox 360 dashboard theme which has been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
