Roogoo and Aces of the Galaxy on XBLA this week

The Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) has a great variety of games and Microsoft is expanding the collection every week by offering some real nice titles. Now Microsoft has sent word about two new games that will hit the XBLA this week. The new titles are Roogoo and Aces of the Galaxy.

Roogoo is a new type of action-puzzler that sees gamers assemble multiple platforms on different levels. Gamers can swivel, roll and boost their way through forty-five puzzle-filled levels alone or with up to four friends in cooperative party mode play. There is also a two-player multiplayer mode where gamers can battle to crack the same puzzle and can increase attacks to conquer their competitors on Xbox Live.

Aces of the Galaxy Screenshots

Then we have Aces of the Galaxy, which is a retro arcade space shooter. Gamers take on the wicked Skurgian Empire to save the Universe. The game features an arsenal of upgradeable weapons such as high-powered missile launchers, devastating torpedoes and the relentless chain gun. Gamers can play single player or even join up with a friend at home or through Xbox Live.

Roogoo has been developed by SpiderMonk Entertainment and will be published by SouthPeak Games. It will come with a price tag of 800 Microsoft Points. Aces of the Galaxy has been developed by Artech Studios and will be published by Sierra Online. It too will cost 800 Microsoft Points. Both these games will be out tomorrow.
