The dark fantasy RTS/RPG, King Arthur II – The Role-playing Wargame, has been released for PC in the form of retail copies as well as through some digital download portals. Paradox Interactive and Neocore Games revealed today that this version of the game is in English, while it will be made available in other languages soon.

King Arthur II - The Role-playing Wargame 1

The new and dark fantasy setting of this title has placed King Arthur in a situation where he is no longer the ruler of his empire. Being a Maimed King, he must now try to restore a land that is at a position where it almost cannot be repaired. This game kicks in large-scale battles with bigger armies that demand strategic decisions in order to defeat powerful foes who are after Britannia.

The story commences a long time after young Arthur pulled the sword out of the stone. The events take place subsequent to him uniting the war-torn land of Britannia, gathering the Knights of the Round Table and securing peace in Camelot using the Holy Grail. The 3D map of the title will also kick in knightly quests and other special events apart from the campaign. The Morality Chart feature that makes its way into this game, helps players unlock special content, spells and units.
