The cooperative multiplayer mode called The Last Stand features co-op survival. Players control an individual hero unit as the mode puts a drops multiplayer team into the heart of battle with the odds stacked up against the members of this tiny group. Teaming up with two other squad-mates to hold out as long as they can, players must survive wave upon wave of attackers. The hero units are completely customizable and new armour and weapons are made available from game to game.
