FIFA Street Coming on March 13 with New Street Network Feature

After having announced it in August last year, EA has finally bestowed FIFA Street with a release date which falls on March 13, 2012. Along with this, the publisher has revealed that this game will come equipped with a new social networking function dubbed Street Network.

FIFA Street 1

This feature has supposedly been developed to go along with the title’s emphasis on tricks. It hence allows gamers to capture videos of their best stunts and share them with their friends online. Moreover, standard social networking functions also make their way into this game, giving players the ability to track and compare their progress in sections like the World Tour story mode which lets them recruit a team of friends to compete against other player-run FIFA Street teams.

Through this trait, gamers can even unlock new tricks and share in-game videos like ‘Goals of the Week,’ with their friends. This game is being developed by the same team behind 2011’s immensely successful FIFA 12. A reboot to the popular series, it was first announced at last year’s gamescom and will be the fourth title to be launched under the Street franchise. It is slated to be released for the PS3 as well as the Xbox 360.
