Codemasters to Swing in with International Cricket 2010 this Summer

Earlier this month, Codemasters announced its new FPS IP entitled Bodycount. The company now continues to extend its association with cricket by introducing a new title based on game. Codemasters is all set to bowl players over with International Cricket 2010 this summer.

The upcoming game developed by Trickstar Games follows the Ashes Cricket 2009. It includes loads of enhancements as well as innovations which are expected to take the game of cricket to a whole new level. The inclusion of the new Action Cam puts players right in the middle of all the action as it offers them new on-field perspectives as well as traditional broadcast views.

The new ‘Power Stick’ offers batsmen direction control and 360° analogue power. With the help of the new feature, players can execute various types of shots such as pushing quick singles and taking risky shots. International Cricket 2010 comprises of official players, kits and stadia as well as a plethora of game modes like new instant tournaments. The game also features a comprehensive player editor and squad editor for extreme personalization. Players can take advantage of an impressive lineup of 16 nations as well as 21 stadia including Lord’s.

Codemasters is planning to unfurl International Cricket 2010 onto the PS3 and Xbox 360 gaming platforms when it launches this summer. The exact pricing and availability details pertaining to the game are however still under wraps.
