Kingdom Hearts is noted to be a series of RPG titles which come complete with action elements. Square Enix will soon bring the prequel to the acclaimed franchise by introducing Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The game is exclusively releasing onto the PSP platform this summer in North America.
The fifth iteration includes three main characters namely Ventus, Aqua and Terra as well as multiplayer mode and distinctive battle system. Players can also espy within the confines of the game loads of Disney characters and worlds which make their appearance for the first time into the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Players can espy the likes of the Dwarf Woodlands from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty’s Enchanted Dominion, Deep Space from Lilo and Stitch as well as Cinderella’s Castle of Dreams. New stages have also been included into familiar worlds such as Neverland from Peter Pan.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is fashioned by acclaimed creator and character designer Tetsuya Nomura. Gamers have to play with all three characters in order to unravel the complete story. The game also employs the use of an enhanced battle system which comprises of Dimension Links, Command Styles, Shotlocks and Command Decks.
The new multiplayer mode included into the title feature Command Board, Rumble Racing, Versus and Arena. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep will hit North America with many new features like additional multiplayer options, an extra boss and Crown Stickers.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep which bears an E10+ by ESRB is slated to hit North American stores this summer. No word yet on the official pricing and availability details.
