As we reported last month, this summer is all set to get heated up with the inclusion of a new Cricket title entitled International Cricket 2010. Stuart Broad is noted to lead the bowling attack of England when they play against the likes of Australia, Bangladesh and Pakistan this summer. The fast rising star was also seen as a vital player of the team’s Ashes winning side last year. International Cricket 2010 offers players loads of enhancements and innovations such as a new player and AI confidence system. The test format enables gamers to play as themselves in batsmen as well as the bowlers’ positions.

“It’s fantastic for me to follow in the footsteps of legends like Brian Lara and feature on the front of a Codemasters cricket game. I’m a huge gamer so it’s exciting to be involved with Codemasters, who have always produced the most authentic and realistic cricket games. When I’m away with the team tour, playing games on our consoles is a great way to pass the time and enjoy some banter. I can’t wait to take on the rest of the lads – and beat them – in International Cricket 2010!” exclaimed England star Stuart Broad.

“Stuart Broad has established himself as one of the most exciting players in world cricket and we’re delighted to sign him up to feature on the front of the pack,” stated John Szoke, Producer, Codemasters.

The upcoming game is fashioned by Trickstar Games and produced by Codemasters. The title also features other enhancements like the new camera dubbed as ‘Action Cam’ as well as ‘Power Stick’ which offers players a 360° degree batting control. All the official players, kits and stadia are officially licensed by the England and Wales Cricket Board and Cricket Australia. Fans of the sport can enjoy various game modes such as full test series, new instant tournaments and Twenty20 matches. Finally, there is an expanded roster of 16 nations as well as a wide selection of 21 stadia including Lord’s.
