Back in January, we had reported that the open beta of Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online would soon unveil. We also divulged that PGA Tour 11 is due to release this summer. Now Electronic Arts reveals that the much-awaited Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online has finally made it onto the gaming scene.
Players are offered a feature-rich and authentic golf game via the web browser. The EA Tiburon developed title is packed with high resolution 3D graphics and doesn’t require any disc, additional peripherals or game installation. The free-to-play offering provides gamers with unlimited access to all the featured courses. There is also a points-based transaction system featured in the online title through which players can purchase points for in-game transactions.

Fans of the sport that opt for the annual membership will get a package of points for Pro Shop items and unlimited rounds on all available courses. The company has also disclosed that new players can also take part in the various features offered in Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online. These include Pro Shop, Group Tournaments, Friend to Friend Messaging and World Championship Courses.
The launch of the game will see the entry of two new courses namely Oakmont CC and Harbour Town Golf Links. There is also a roster comprising of ten world-class golf courses like Pebble Beach Golf Links, Sheshan Golf & CC, Wentworth (West Course), Wolf Creek GC, St Andrews (Old Course), Bay Hill Club & Lodge and TPC Sawgrass among others.
Players can also take advantage of a monthly or yearly membership which is priced at £6.99 (approx. Rs.473) and £49.99 (approx. Rs.3,386) respectively.
