Akiyoshi ‘Greyhound’ Chosogabe had this to say, “The stakes have been raised and PES 2010 for Wii shows that Konami can still innovate and surprise. Our control system for Wii is still regarded as the finest and most intuitive around, and we have once again reworked it to add a level of control and realism that can appeal to new and old PES fans alike.”

The instantaneous stamina feature has been added to prevent full paced sprints by the player in possession. Also stamina is drained for things like getting the ball under control. The AI is boosted and attackers can perform AI feints within the range of that specific player’s abilities. There is even a new free kick system which is viewed from the perspective of the free kick taker. Based on the kick taker’s abilities, players can add curve and extra pace to the shot. In matches against other human opponents, gamers can even move their keepers earlier.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 for the Nintendo Wii is scheduled to release in the fall of 2009. The game is also slated to release for the PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, but prices are not known.
