Konami Reveals New 360 Degree Control for PES 2010

FIFA 10 has been making waves in the football gaming community, with the 360 dribbling feature, among other features. Now Konami has responded announcing its own 360 degree control scheme for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, which further adds to the realism of the football simulation title. The developers received a lot of feedback via forums, in which eager fans wanted to know whether PES 2010 would have a 360 degree control scheme.

The new 360 degree control will be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems allowing players to spread the ball with ease. This should make attacking and defensive moves more interesting. PS3 users can reap the benefits of DualShock’s D-Pad, but Xbox 360 owners will be limited to eight-directional control due to the hardware.

Among the list of other updates is the ability to completely control a goalkeeper, new keeper moves, finely tuned close control of the ball, and new animations. Players will even be able to manually call for the ball when running into space. Performing the wide variety of player skills will also be simpler, and PES 2010 will feature the most flicks and tricks to date.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is scheduled for a fall release for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS2 and PSP systems. Prices of the game are not known.
