NCAA Football 10 adds Erin Andrews to Broadcast Team

Electronic Arts has revealed some details of their EA Sports NCAA Football 10 video game. The game for the Xbox 360 and PS3 will feature sports broadcaster, Erin Andrews as a sideline reporter. And besides conveying the in-game news, Andrews is going to be featured in a “major NCAA Football 10 mode that will be revealed at a later date”.

Being the newest addition to the broadcast team of NCAA Football 10, Andrews will join Brad Nessler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso in a game that captures the excitement of college football at its best. The inclusion of Andrews in the game brings an added level of authenticity to the college football experience since she has been working since 2004 as a sideline reporter for ESPN’s College Football Saturdays.

The game will feature a different football player on its cover for the different platforms it releases on, and represents all 120 Football Bowl Subdivision schools. NCAA Football 10 captures the authentic college football atmosphere with the cheerleaders, mascots and school colors in enhanced stadiums. The game also features flags flying high in the wind, new field goal nets, and camera flashes from the fans.

NCAA Football 10 is developed by EA Tiburon and is to be released on the Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and PSP platforms. The game is scheduled for a release on July 14, 2009, prices of which have not yet been confirmed.
