Video game publisher 2K Sports has stated that St. Louis Cardinals All-Star first baseman and power hitter Albert Pujols will be the cover athlete for The BIGS. The title is an innovative, action-packed pick-up-and-play MLB licensed video game.
Albert Pujols said, “I’m honored to characterize this revolutionary new baseball title from 2K Sports. I’ve been blessed to have played in some epic baseball games in my career and it’s astounding to see how The BIGS captures the most dramatic plays and brings them to life in a baseball video game.”

The Bigs has been developed by Blue Castle Games. The game will release for the PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and the Xbox 360 in the summer of 2007. Albert Pujols is a great choice for the cover as he is one of the best hitters in the MLB. He is the youngest MLB player to hit 250 home runs. Pujols has also won three Silver Slugger awards and the 2006 Gold Glove.
