An American student has been arrested for making a Counter Strike map of Clements High School. The seventeen-year old student from Houston was suspended and later expelled from the school.

He was then moved to M.R. Wood Alternative Education Center that focuses on special learning needs and it seems that it also has a crack terrorism response force. The student, who is of Chinese origin, was distributing the map from his website. A parent of a student from the school complained that her child had played a computer game that “involved killing” and “took place inside an animated map of Clements high School.” The complaint was made just one day after the horrifying shooting incident at Virginia Tech University.

Even though the student clarified that Counter-Strike was simply a game and he never intended for any violence to occur at the school or for anyone to get hurt in any way, his house was still searched. The police found and confiscated five decorative swords in the search. However, now the incident seems to be turning into a political turmoil. The local Chinese community is enraged by the disciplinary measures Clements High School took against the unidentified boy.
