Users will apparently be able to transfer ‘Effort Points’ from the portable game onto the PS3 console version, thereby giving their character a bit of a boost. Details are that the version of the game for the PSP will have gamers playing as a light-eyed, blue-skinned Na’vi warrior whose village has been destroyed by the RDA.

The details have apparently been revealed in the October issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine. And the ability to augment your PS3 character using the PSP game does sound interesting. Also, it’s really good to see third party games making use of the PS3/PSP connectivity.
