LocoRoco Midnight Carnival is the spin-off to the LocoRoco franchise, and it continues the story of LocoRoco 2. The game features a new mechanism dubbed ‘Boing’. Now Tsubasa Inaba, Producer at SCEA Santa Monica, writes on the PlayStation Blog that LocoRoco Midnight Carnival is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation Network for the PSP this Thursday.
The game also has another new feature; one which allows friends to race each other through the levels in the game. Via Ad Hoc players can connect with up to four friends and tilt the screen to get their LocoRoco character through the levels faster than their opponents. Players can see the position of their opponents when they get close enough.
We also have word of some free LocoRoco PSN items including a LocoRoco Midnight Carnival theme and spooky wallpaper. LocoRoco Midnight Carnival will be released on the PSN on Thursday, October 29, 2009 for a price of 14.99 USD (approx. Rs. 700).
