Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign Coming to PSP

Savage Moon is the tower defense strategy game released last year exclusively for the PS3. Now developer FluffyLogic has announced that the game is heading to the PSP under the title Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign and is to feature a host of new elements.

“For the last few months FluffyLogic personnel have been toiling away in an underground bunker to produce the mobile incarnation of the game: Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign – featuring new weapons, new bugs, news maps and new gameplay,” producer Ana Kronschnabl and designer Tom Rawlingson, write on the PlayStation Blog.

Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign has been designed specifically for the PSP, and introduces 20 new Imoons, and 2 new species as well as 2 new sub species of Insectocytes. The Drainer, a new form, can temporarily disable any human technology by emitting a bio-magnetic pulse field. Another form is the regenerator sub-species, which are capable of healing any damage taken. The host of new Human technology includes the Sniper Tower, drop pods and block pods. And players can now play as the Supreme Commander of the entire armada.

There is a Tactical Skills menu giving the player more control, and a new interface which allows the player to plan the entire campaign. Players can unlock the vengeance mode version of each Imoon, and hidden alternative music soundtracks. There is no word on when the game will be released for the PSP system.
