MotorStorm is the racing game series which first took the world by storm in 2006. The first two installments in the series were quite well received by critics. Now Scott McCarthy, Manager; Software Product Marketing, SCEA, writes on the PlayStation Blog that fans who pre-order MotorStorm Arctic Edge for the PSP and the PSPgo will receive an exclusive vehicle.
The exclusive vehicle is the Mirage Rapide rally car, which boasts of handling, set for maximum drifting, and gearing which is set for top speed. The car also comes with two customizable skins, for players who love to switch around the looks of their ride. The Mirage Rapide is designed specifically to take those sharp turns on snowy cliff faces. It gives extra stability in an already very unstable icy environment.
MotorStorm Arctic Edge is scheduled to release to retailers as well as on the PlayStation Network on September 29, 2009. Fans can pre-order their copies from any of the participating retailers. Prices for the game are not known.
